William "Bill" Wayne Rich

William (Bill) Wayne Rich, 74, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, died Wednesday, April 11th 2012. Mr. Rich was born in Gadsden, Alabama on October 26, 1937 and later moved to St. Petersburg, Florida where he graduated from St. Petersburg High School in 1956.

William served in the United States Army from 1957-1959 at the Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland. Mr. Rich worked as a clerk for the FBI, helped move Florida Gas into the computer age, programmed for the Brevard County School System and retired as a computer programmer for Lockheed Martin Data Systems.

Mr. Rich was predeceased by his mother, Fairrella Pabst; his father, William Dwight Rich; and brother,Thomas Allen Rich.

Mr. Rich is survived by his son, James Rich; daughter-in-law, Paula Rich; grandson, Spencer Rich; former wife, Glenda Cronin; nieces, Donna Ferrante, Carol Van Bebber, Sherree Rich; and sister-in-law, Shirley Cotter.

Funeral Information

Inurnment will be at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, Florida. Arrangements by Yates Funeral Home and Crematory, Fort Pierce, Florida.

Donations can be made in Mr. Rich's memory to Port St. Lucie Volunteer Ambulance Service and would be greatly appreciated.
