Jerome (Jerry) William Hall

Jerome (Jerry) William Hall, age 78, of Forest Lake, Minnesota and Port Saint Lucie, Florida passed away Friday, March 16th, 2012 in Port Saint Lucie, surrounded by his family. He was born March 4, 1934 in Center City, Minnesota to Wilhelm and Estella (Johnson) Hall. He graduated from Chi High class of 1952, served two years in the United States Army and attended the University of Minnesota, earning a degree in business in 1958.

He spent his entire lifetime career as a CPA with McGladrey and Pullen, working in offices in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Richmond, Virginia and Atlanta, Georgia. He retired as a Partner in 1989. Jerry was a passionate golfer and carded seven holes-in-one. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved to entertain them. An avid reader and world traveler, he also enjoyed a good debate on current affairs.

Survivors include his loving wife, Mary Ann, beloved children Elizabeth (Jim) Gilroy of Dawsonville, Georgia, Jeffrey of Alpharetta, Georgia and Angel (Steve) Perry of Jefferson, Georgia and their mother Marilyn Monson Hall and his cherished grandchildren Madi Gilroy and Heather and Jackson Perry. Also surviving is his sister Carolyn Engstrand of Bloomington, Minnesota and brothers David (Sandy) Hall of Merrimac, Wisconsin and Kent (Bev Minn) Hall of Sitka, Alaska.

Funeral Information

A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held at a later date.
