Cyril J. Meisner

Cyril J. Meisner, 91, of Fort Pierce, Florida passed away May 21, 2010 in Fort Pierce. Mr. Meisner was born in Bronx, New York moving to Fort Pierce 23 years ago from East Durham, New York. He was a Lieutenant with Transit Police of New York City, retiring after 30 years of service. He was a Veteran of World War II serving with the United States Army Air Corps in the European Theatre and the Pacific Theater of Operations. Mr. Meisner was a member of the East Durham American Legion, Post 1460, Knights of Columbus and B.P.O. Elks. He was a member of Saint Anastasia Catholic Church.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Meisner of Satsuma, Florida and Andrew Meisner of Long Beach, New York; two daughters, Patricia Curtis of Albany, New York and Betty Ann Dinan of Lynbrook, New York; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Meisner is preceded in death by his wife, Alice Meisner and his wife, Betty Meisner; and a son Gerard Meisner.

Funeral Information

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated May 25, 2010 at 10:30am from Saint Anastasia Catholic Church, Fort Pierce.

Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Oak Hill, New York.
