Filiberto Lastella

Filiberto Lastella, 85, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida passed away May 27, 2012 at Saint Lucie Medical Center. He was born in Corato, Italy before moving to Long Island and subsequently retired to Port Saint Lucie in 2004.
He attended Holy Family Catholic Church in Port Saint Lucie and owned and operated a Carvel Ice Cream shop before owning his own ice cream shop and pizzeria, Frozen Fantasies, for many years.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Angela Lastella of Port Saint Lucie; daughter, Mary Morris of Altmont, New York; sons, Anthony Lastella of Dix Hills, New York and Joseph Lastella of Coral Springs, Florida; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral Information

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 30, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Yates Funeral Home, 7951 South U.S. Highway 1, Port Saint Lucie, Florida, 34952. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 31, 2012, 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie.
