John Fitzpatrick

John Fitzpatrick, 76, of Fort Pierce, Florida passed away March 13, 2012 at Treasure Coast Hospice, Fort Pierce. Mr. Fitzpatrick was born in Boston, Massachusetts, moving to Fort Pierce ten years ago from Cotuit, Massachusetts. He was a graduate of Boston University and received a Master’s Degree from Boston State College. Mr. Fitzpatrick was retired from the United States Department of Defense. He served with the United States Navy and was a member of the American Legion, Fort Pierce.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Joan Coriaty Fitzpatrick; son, John T. Fitzpatrick and his wife, Robin of Water Mill, New York; daughter, Maureen Fitzpatrick of Bristow, Virginia; granddaughter, Tara Kahn of Bristow; three sisters, Kay Fitzpatrick of Quincy, Massachusetts, Pat Coulombe of North Easton, Massachusetts and Virginia Corey of Knoxville, Tennessee.

Mr. Fitzpatrick is preceded in death by a sister, Mary Connolly; two brothers, Terrence Fitzpatrick and James Fitzpatrick.

Funeral Information

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on March 17, 2012 from Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help (Mission Church). Burial will follow at Mount Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury, Massachusetts. Yates Funeral Home, Fort Pierce is in charge of local arrangements.
