Joseph Fontana

November 21, 1916 - June 12, 2010

Joseph Fontana, 93, of Fort Pierce, Florida, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Emerald Health Care in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Born in Frontenac, Kansas, he was a resident of Fort Pierce since 1979, coming from Detroit, Michigan.

He was a Veteran, serving with the United States Navy. A Welder by trade, he worked in the Sheet Metal Industry for many years and was a member of the Masonic Lodge, for more than fifty years, in Detroit and Port Saint Lucie.

He was predeceased by his wife of fifty-two years, Patricia Holmes Fontana.

Survivors include two daughters, Jan Fontana Shanks & Jolyn Guenther, both of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; & two granddaughters.
