Margaret Hunter "Snookie" Brown

Margaret Hunter “Snookie” Brown, 93, of Fort Pierce, Florida passed away on March 4, 2010 in Fort Pierce. Mrs. Brown was a native of Fort Pierce and former resident of Miami, Florida. She was a musician in the jazz band, “The Smoothies,” the former Musical Director of IRCC’s “Nostalgia Follies,” and a retired organist at both Saint Anastasia Catholic Church and Saint Mark’s Catholic Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Alane Brown Luke and Mary Osteen, one son, Anthony Winston Brown, all of Fort Pierce; seven Grandchildren and two Great – Grandchildren.

Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her husband Alan Winston Brown; two sons, Timothy H. Brown and Skippy Brown.

Funeral Information

Friends may call from 8:30am to 9:30am March 8, 2010 at the Yates Funeral Home & Crematory, Fort Pierce. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Mark’s Catholic Church at 10am, March 8, 2010.
