John D. Fitzpatrick

John D. Fitzpatrick, 81, of the Savanna Club in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, died November 04, 2009 at his home. Born in Bayonne, New Jersey, he had been a resident of Port Saint Lucie, since 1996, coming from his birthplace.

He was a Subway Inspector with New Jersey Bell Telephone Co. for 35 years, until retiring in 1988. Mr. Fitzpatrick was a World War II Veteran serving with the United States Marines. He was a member of the N.R.A., China Marines Association #2911, Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #513 in Port Saint Lucie, and the American Legion Post #318 in Port Saint Lucie.

He was predeceased by his Wife of 56 years, Barbara Fitzpatrick, who died in 2004.

Survivors include two sons, John D. Fitzpatrick, Jr. of Bayonne, New Jersey, & William J. Fitzpatrick of Sahuarita, Arizona; three daughters, Nora Lee Paszulya of Tucson, Arizona, Mary Lou Piro of Port Saint Lucie, & Carol Ann Lucatelli of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren; & eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral Information

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on November 8th at 3:00 p.m. at the Grace Emmanuel Church in Port Saint Lucie. Interment will be held privately by the family.
