Geraldine “Geri” Goffin Bachman, 78, died August 11, 2010 at Saint Lucie Medical Center. She was born in Centerville, MA and lived in Port Saint Lucie since 1990. Before retirement she was office manager at Cape Cod Community College in Hyannis, MA. Geri volunteered a prodigious amount of her time to the Morningside Library where she had a special interest in book sales, and spent many joyous hours. She was named Volunteer of the Year for several years Her outgoing ways and ever smiling presence will be greatly missed by her co workers and library patrons. She was the loving mother of seven children, grandmother of nine and great grandmother of one.
Survivors include her dear, loving husband of 61 years, William “Gene” Bachman; daughters, Wanda Lee Schnorrenberg, Deborah Ann Bussey, Theresa Susan Barthalow, Mary Jo Hildebrand, Cynthia Lyn Banowsky,; sons, James E. Bachman, and Charles S. Bachman; as well as 9 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild; and sister Victoria Sousa.
