Elizabeth Malcolm

Elizabeth K. Malcolm, 89, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, died April 17, 2010 at the Palms of Saint Lucie West in Port Saint Lucie. Born in Colquitt, Georgia, she moved to the area at an early age and had been a resident of Port Saint Lucie for many years.

An Elementary School Teacher, she attended the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia and Florida State University in Tallahassee.

She was a member of the Florida Education Association, the Pink Ladies of Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce, the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Southern Dames, the United Daughters of the Confederacy, the First Baptist Church of Port Saint Lucie, and was a Charter Member of the Port Saint Lucie Medical Center.

She was predeceased by her Husband of 53 years, Francis Malcolm, who died in 1994 and her Sister, Mildred M. Corley.

Survivors include one son, William W. Malcolm of Roanoke, Virginia; one sister, Pearl E. Poole of Columbus, Georgia; & three grandchildren.

Funeral Information

At the request of the family, services will be private.
