Thomas E. "Tommy" Williams

Thomas E. “Tommy” Williams, 80, of Fort Pierce, Florida died October 13, 2009 at Lawn wood Regional Medical Center. Mr. Williams was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, moving to Fort Pierce in 1948 from Pompano, Florida. He served with the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Williams was a retired accountant and construction supervisor with the local Gulf Oil Bulk Plant and J.R. Peeler Construction Company. He was a member American Legion Post 40 and a member of First United Methodist Church of Fort Pierce.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Marjorie Sullivan Williams of Fort Pierce; 3 sons, Dave A. Williams, Thomas S. Williams and wife, Shelly Williams, and Keith A, Williams, all of Fort Pierce; 2 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.

Mr. Williams is preceded in death by his son, Mark T. Williams in 1994 and his parents, Marion Elwood Williams and Bernice Bancroft Williams.

Funeral Information

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., October 16, 2009 at the First United Methodist Church, Fort Pierce.
