Dennis C. Pauley

August 22, 1918 - February 23, 2010

Dennis C. Pauley, 91, of Alma, Georgia, died February 23, 2010 at the Bacon County Hospital in Alma. Born in St Albans, West Virginia, he was a Fort Pierce resident since 1973, coming from Follansbee, West Virginia, until moving recently to Alma.

A World War II Veteran serving with the United States Navy, on the Destroyer USS Albert W. Grant, he was a pipefitter by trade and was involved with the construction of the Nuclear Power Plants on South Hutchinson Island and Indiantown. He was a member of Pipefitters Union Local 490 (now #392) in Steubenville, Ohio and a member of the American Legion Post #45 in Follansbee, West Virginia for more than 35 years.

He is survived by his Wife of 33 years, Rosemarie Pauley of Alma; one son, Jeff Pauley of Fort Pierce; one step-daughter, Maria Wainwright of Alma; & one granddaughter, Erin of Port Saint Lucie, Florida.

Funeral Information

Friends may call February 25, 2010, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., at the Yates Funeral Home & Crematory, Fort Pierce Chapel.

Interment with Military Honors will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce.
