Margaret A. Scoggins, 77, of Jensen Beach, Florida, died January 18, 2010 at the Saint Lucie Medical Center, Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Born in Springfield Gardens, New York, she had been Port Saint Lucie resident since 1966, coming from Plainview, New York., until moving to Jensen Beach.

Prior to her retirement in 2002, she had been a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson with Sun Realty in Port Saint Lucie. She was a former member of the Saint Lucie County Board of Realtors,Port Saint Lucie Junior Women’s Club, the Saint Lucie County Board of Realtors and the Port Saint Lucie Little League.

Daughter of the late Ferdinand and Louise Peluso, she was predeceased by her Husband of twenty-one years, Albert F. Scoggins, who died in 1975.

She is survived by one daughter, Laurie Bernstein of Port Saint Lucie: one son, Albie Scoggins and his Wife, Christine of Port Saint Lucie; & two grandchildren, Brian Bernstein & Casey Scoggins.

Funeral Information

A Service to Celebrate Her Life will be held Saturday, January 23rd at 1:30 p.m., at the Yates Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Saint Lucie Chapel, where the Family will receive Friends after 1:00 p.m.

Interment will be held privately by the Family.
