Claude C. “Sprucy” Tillman

Claude C. “Sprucy” Tillman, 90 of Fort Pierce, Florida passed away July 26, 2011 in Fort Pierce. Mr. Tillman was born in Dover, North Carolina, moving to Fort Pierce 67 years ago from Dover. He was the retired owner and operator of Office Products and Services of Fort Pierce.
Mr. Tillman was a veteran of World War II, Serving in the United States Army. He was a past member of the Fort Pierce Lions Club.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Claudia T. Troup, of Lake Mary, Florida, Susie T. Thomas and Pamela T. Dickson, both of Fort Pierce; son, Robert C. Tillman of Fort Pierce; brother, Tom Tillman of Gibson, Georgia; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Mr. Tillman is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret “Peggy” Bracken Tillman; 3 brothers, Murray Tillman, Dewey Tillman and Pete Tillman; and a sister, Dorothy T. Wasdon.

Funeral Information

A visitation will be held July 29, 2011 from 4:30 pm until 6:30 pm at Yates Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00am July 30th from the graveside at Riverview Memorial Park, Fort Pierce.
