Paul “Joe” Boudreau, Jr., 79, of Fort Pierce, Florida died September 29, 2009 at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce. Born in Peekskill, New York, he had been a resident of Fort Pierce since 1959, coming from Merced, California. He owned and operated the P&J Gulf Service Station on US 1 in Fort Pierce for many years and later tended bar at various, local taverns in Fort Pierce. He was an Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the American Legion Post #40, Benevolent Protective Order of Elks #1520, and the Amvets Post #15, all in Fort Pierce. He is survived by his long-time Companion, Vera Ernsberger of Fort Pierce; three sons, James Boudreau of Fort Pierce, Robert Boudreau and his wife, Sherry, of Sugar Land, Texas, & William Boudreau and his wife, Diane, of Milledgeville, Georgia.; & three grandchildren. He was predeceased by his Wife, Florence Boudreau, one son, Edward Boudreau, and his Parents, Paul & Ethel Boudreau. Funeral InformationA Visitation will be held October 3rd from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Yates Funeral Home & Crematory, Fort Pierce Chapel. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens at 2:00 p.m. |
