Gloria C. Torrez

Gloria C. Torrez, 85, of Fort Pierce, Florida passed away May 3, 2012 at Saint Lucie Medical Center. Mrs. Torrez was born in McAllen, Texas, moving to Fort Pierce in 1983 from New Haven, Indiana. She was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant.
Survivors include her daughter, Kelly Rubalcada of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; son Arthur Torrez of Fort Pierce; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; six sisters, Mary Ward of Rochester, New York, Delores Walmsley of Virginia, Lydia Heredia of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Carmen Cuellar of Fort Wayne, Rosa Gerra of Fort Wayne and Carolina Gonzales of Fort Pierce; four brothers, Tony Cuellar, Jimmy Cuellar and Johnny Cuellar, all of Fort Wayne, and Roy Cuellar of Port Saint Lucie.
Mrs. Torrez was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Torrez; son Lucio J. Sales; daughter Gloria T. Creighton; and two brothers, Raul Cuellar Jr. and Danny Cuellar.
Friends may call from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm, May 9, 2012 at Yates Funeral Home, Port Saint Lucie. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am May 10, 2012 at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Rolling Oaks Cemetery, Port Saint Lucie.
