William M. Gassert, Jr.

William M. Gassert, Jr., 79, of Indian River Estates in Fort Pierce, Florida, died suddenly May 26, 2010 at his home. Born in Jackson Twp, Pennsylvania, he was a Fort Pierce resident for forty years, coming from Miami.

He was a Life Insurance Sales Agent with Life of Georgia for more than twenty years until retiring in 1985. He then went to work for the Saint Lucie County Mosquito Control District, working there for fifteen years and retiring six years ago.

Survivors include his Wife of thirty-nine years, Yvonne Gassert of Fort Pierce; two sons, William M. Gassert, III of Metairie, Louisiana, & Randall Wayne Watts of Doylestown, Pennsylvania; one daughter, Sherri L. Horenstein of Lawrenceville, Georgia; three grandchildren; & two great-grandchildren.
