Carlos Joel Gorritz

Carlos Joel Gorritz, age 26, formerly of Port Saint Lucie and Miami Beach, Florida passed away in Newburg, Missouri, April 10, 2012. Mr. Gorritz was born in Hialeah, Florida and resided in Port Saint Lucie prior to moving to Miami Beach and subsequently moving to St. Robert, Missouri. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Survivors include his mother, Norma L. Gorritz of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; two aunts, Leticia Gorritz and Migdalia Gorritz both of Puerto Rico; cousins, Jessica Haynes of Port Saint Lucie, David Soler of Miami, Yesnia Gonzalez of Puerto Rico, and Fernando Vasquez of Puerto Rico, Maria and Lily.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Carlos Gorritz and Norma T. Reyes.

Funeral Information

A visitation will be held, Sunday, April 15, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Yates Funeral Home, Port Saint Lucie with a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Al Haynes officiating. Burial will take place Monday, April 16, 2012, 1:45 p.m. at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, Florida with military honors.
