Robert E. Linhares, 73, of Port Saint Lucie, FL passed away February 13, 2012 in Port Saint Lucie, FL. Mr. Linhares was born in Providence, Rhode Island and moved to Port Saint Lucie, Florida from East Windsor, New Jersey in 1997. Robert retired as Vice President of Distribution Gucci America Inc. in New Jersey. He attended Holy Family Catholic Church and was a veteran serving in the United States Army Reserve for nine years.
Survivors include, his wife of 47 years, Lois Linhares of Port Saint Lucie, FL; sons, Robert E. Linhares of New York City, NY and Larry A. Linhares of East Windsor, NJ; daughter, Catherine Cane of Phoenixville, PA; five grandchildren; mother, Catherine Linhares of East Greenwich, RI; brother, Edward F. Linhares of Bel Air, MD.
He is preceded in death by his father, Edward A. Linhares and brother, Kenneth C. Linhares.
