Gerald Bazan

December 22, 1937 - February 12, 2010

Gerald Bazan, 72, of Fort Pierce, Florida died February 12, 2010 at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center. Born in St. Joseph, Missouri, Mr. Bazan moved to Fort Pierce in 1969, coming from Los Angeles, California. After retiring from Southern Bell he became an Instructor at Indian River State College for 13 years. Mr. Bazan was a veteran, serving in the United States Army and was a member of Saint Anastasia’s Catholic Church of Fort Pierce, Florida.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Esther Bazan; two daughters, Deborah Bazan of Fort Pierce, Florida and Christina Eckhardt of Waco, Texas; one son, Charles Bazan of Port St. Lucie, Florida; two grandchildren; and one sister, Patricia Zeitelhack of Greenville, South Carolina.

Funeral Information

A Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., February 16, 2010 at the Yates Funeral Home, Fort Pierce Chapel, with a Service to follow at 7:00 p.m.
