Linda G. Hudson Butt, 63 of Fort Pierce, Florida died Wednesday, September 8, 2010 in Fort Pierce. Linda was born in Kissimmee, Florida, daughter of William T. Hudson, Jr., and Dorothy Viven Padgett Hudson. She was a former resident of Jensen Beach, Florida and a 40 year resident of Fort Pierce. Linda was a graduate of Vero Beach high School, class of 1965, an avid equestrian and a lover of horses. Linda was a retired employee of Martin County.
Survivors include her brother, William T. “Ted” Hudson III of Beachgrove, TN; cousins, Juanita (David) Hill, Jerry Tamm, Susan (Keith) Proske all of Fort Pierce, Stacey (Matt) Grobble of Frankland, TN, Carl (Mary) Brackett of Charlottesville, VA, Carrie (Jim) Chapman of Manchester, TN; aunt, Patricia “Pat” Adams of Murphysboro, TN; niece, Dallas (Jason) Wehr of Groveland, FL; and nephew, Keith (Dodi) Wicks of Charlotte, NC; and her closest friends, Kenna Hayes, Jane Sinatra, and Dawn Hilton.
In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Michael T. Butt; a brother, Lary Hudson, and her maternal grandmother, Valda Padgett.

Funeral Information

Friends may call, Saturday, September 11, 2010, 2:00PM until 4:30PM at Yates Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A memorial service will follow at 4:30PM in the funeral home chapel.
