Juan Alvarez, 62, of Fort Pierce, Florida passed away April 19, 2012 in Fort Pierce, FL. Mr. Alvarez was born in Cuba and came to the Treasure Coast from New Jersey in 1983.
Juan retired from Fort Pierce Police Department in 1995.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years Esther Alvarez of Fort Pierce, FL, son, Juan Alvarez of Port Saint Lucie, FL, two grandchildren , mother, Marina Pujol of Miami, Florida, brothers, Andy Alvarez , Adolfo Alvarez, and Rafael Alvarez all of Bayside, New York, sister, Carida Alvarez of Miami, FL.

Funeral Information

A gathering of friends and family will be April 27, 2012 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Yates Funeral Home Port Saint Lucie chapel followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am at the chapel.
