Edward E. Patterson

October 13, 1944 - January 13, 2010

Edward Ernest Patterson, 65, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, died January 13, 2010 at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Fort Pierce. Born in Nelson, Pennsylvania, he was a resident of Port Saint Lucie for nine years coming from Clayton, North Carolina.

He was an Over the Road Trucker and owned his own rig. An Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam Era, he was a member of the American Legion Post #318 in Port Saint Lucie. He loved fishing in the local marinas, loved motorcycles and karaole, and was an avid Nascar fan.

He is survived by his Wife, Karen Fox-Patterson of Port Saint Lucie; one son, Edward Dean Patterson of Cary, North Carolina; one daughter, Clarissa Ann Patterson of Mansfield, Pennsylvania; two step sons, Richard Fox of Williamstown, New Jersey, & Scott Bowley of Stratton Mountain, Vermont; one step daughter, Cristin Bowley of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; two sisters, Lois Oliver of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, & June Wilbur of Proctor, Vermont; one brother, Larry Patterson of Addison, New York; and six grandchildren, Steven & Natalie Allen of Clementon, New Jersey, Stefani Eidem & Kiarah Bowley of Williamstown, New Jersey, Derik Eidem (stationed at Fort Jackson, South Carolina) and Sean Patterson of Mansfield, Pennsylvania; & many nieces & nephews.

He was predeceased by his Parents, Ernest and Beatrice Patterson.

Funeral Information

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday January 17th at 3:00PM at the First Baptist Church of Port Saint Lucie, 115 NE Solida Drive, Port Saint Lucie. Burial under the direction of the Yates Funeral home & Crematory, Port Saint Lucie Chapel will be in Roseville, Pennsylvania.
