Leona Mary Breese

Leona Mary Breese, 91, of Fort Pierce, Florida died February 18, 2010 at a local hospice. Mrs. Breese was born in Genoa, New York, moving to Fort Pierce in 1952 from Kellogsville, New York. She was a retired bookkeeper having worked at Ingram’s Home Appliance, General Development and Sears.

Survivors include her daughter, Lillian Mitchell of Fort Pierce; 15 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 54 great-great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Breese is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard L. Breese in 1999; daughter, Shirley Hauswirth; and a son Robert Breese.

Funeral Information

Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., on February 23rd at Yates Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.

A Funeral Service will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Jim Thornton officiating.
