George Merle Fredin, 81, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida died October 14, 2009 at St. Lucie Medical Center. He was born in Chicago, Illinois to Mable and George Fredin. He had been resident of Port Saint Lucie since 2000, coming from Fargo, North Dakota. Mr. Fredin was a Veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Army. He was a former Art Teacher and one of his hobbies was dancing.

Mr. Fredin is survived by his three sons, Kenneth George Fredin of Port St. Lucie, Jeffrey Christopher Fredin of Port St. Lucie, and Jonathan Harvard Freden of Raleigh, North Carolina.

Services will be held privately by the family at a later date.
