Eugene Joseph Salerno , 79 died August 20, 2011 at Treasure Coast Hospice, in Fort Pierce, FL.
He was born in Buffalo, New York and Lived in Port St. Lucie since 1984 coming from Alden, NY. Before retiring he owned his own mechanic business. He was a Korean War veteran serving in the US Air Force. A member of AM Vets Post #15 Ft. Pierce. He was preceded in death by his wife Doreen Salerno and a son Eugene Salerno.
Survived by his two sons, Gary Salerno of Port St. Lucie, FL and Brian Salerno (Diane) of Quinton, VA. Two daughters, Karen Fischer (Dwight) of Buffalo, NY and Anna McCormick (Jack) of Islamorada, FL , thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral Information

Visitation Wednesday August 24, 2011, 2:00-6:00 PM Service to follow at 6:00 PM at Yates Funeral Home & Crematory, Fort Pierce, FL. The burial will take place Thursday August 25, 2011 at 10:45AM at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL.
