Joseph Edmondson 88, of Port Saint Lucie, FL passed away February 14, 2012 at Saint Lucie Medical Center, Port Saint Lucie, FL. Mr. Edmondson was born in Jamaica, West Indies and came to Port Saint Lucie from Brooklyn, NY in 1992. He worked as a cabinet maker for most of his life. He was a member of Devine Holiness Church if God in Port Saint Lucie.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years Avis Edmondson of Port Saint Lucie, FL., daughters, Paulette Myrie of Long Island, NY, Yvonne Edmondson of Brooklyn, NY, and Marlene Edmondson of Brooklyn, NY, sons, Clive Edmondson and Michael Edmondson both of Brooklyn, NY, twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren, mother, Gurtel Hanson of Punta Gorda, FL.

Funeral Information

The family will receive friends Saturday February 25 2012 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at Yates Funeral Home Port Saint Lucie chapel. Funeral Service will be 11:30 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Rolling Oaks Cemetery Port Saint Lucie, FL.
