Lloyd Chase

July 15, 1931 - October 12, 2009

Lloyd Chase, 78, of Stuart, Florida died October 12, 2009 at Martin Nursing and Restorative Care Center. Born in Hyannis, Massachusetts, he came to Stuart in 1959 from his Birthplace. Mr. Chase was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the United States Army and prior to retirement he was an Insurance Agent . He was a Life Member of Kiwanis of Stuart, a member of The Church of the Advent of Palm City, an avid gardener and enjoyed making clocks.

Survivors include his Wife of 23 years, Patricia Z. Chase of Stuart, Florida; 3 daughters, April West of Fort Pierce, Florida, Laura Donovan of Port St. Lucie, Florida, and Dorcas Boucher of Stuart, Florida; a step-daughter, Gail Kight of Conover, North Carolina; 2 step-sons, Craig Zirkle of Telford, Tennessee and Glenn Zirkle of Hartsel, Colorado; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Chase was preceded in death by his son, Lloyd Chase, Jr.

Funeral Information

A Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., October 15, 2009 at Forest Hills Funeral Home Palm City, FL. A Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m., October 16, 2009 at the Episcopal Church of the Advent of Palm City, Florida with Rev. Robert Shires and Rev, George Kinard III Officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
