Juan S. Mendiola

Juan S. Mendiola, 94, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida passed away January 6, 2012 in Port Saint Lucie. He was born in Guam and came to Port Saint Lucie from Hayward, California in 2008. Mr. Mendiola was a retired U.S. Government machinist and attended Holy Family Catholic Church of Port Saint Lucie.

Survivors include daughters; Teri Carter of Salida, California, Susie Marmolejo of Oahu, Hawaii, Agnes Cruz and Juanita Mendiola both of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; sons, Fred Mendiola of Houston, Texas, Joseph Mendiola of Castro Valley, California, Paul Mendiola of Fairfield, California and Manny Concepcion of Vallejo, California; twenty three grand children, 31 great-grandchildren and sisters, Josefina Blas of Guam and Marigita Lazima of Los Angeles, California.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Carmen Mendiola; son, Felix Mendiola and grandson, Joshua Thornquist.

Private arrangements are with Yates Funeral Home and Crematory, Port Saint Lucie, Florida.
