Frank P. Mazzone

Frank P. “Hank” Mazzone, 89, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away April 26, 2010 in a local hospital. Mr. Mazzone was born in Norwalk, Connecticut, moving to Port St. Lucie in 1979 from Norwalk. He was a cabinet maker, retiring from Howe Furniture Company in South Norwalk.

Mr. Mazzone was a member of the Spanish Lakes Riverfront Italian-American Club, South Norwalk Boat Club and Saint Lucie Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Beverly Hitt Mazzone of Port St. Lucie; Daughter, Diane Schwamb of Jensen Beach, Florida; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Mazzone was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Mazzone; 5 sisters, Concetta Cimminello, Carmella Allegretta, Victoria Gasparino, Rose Gorham and Eva Albonizio, and a brother, Patsy Mazzone.

Funeral Information

Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., April 30, 2010 at Yates Funeral Home, Port St. Lucie.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m., May 1, 2010 at Saint Lucie Catholic Church.

Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
