Peter Truitt Balanzategui

Peter Truitt Balanzategui, 66, of Fort Pierce, Florida, died August 11, 2012 at his home.

Born in Havana, Cuba, he moved to Fort Pierce in 1955, from Homestead, Florida.

He was an Antiques Dealer, and served with the United States Army.

Survivors include his sons, David Truitt Balanzatequi of Fort Pierce, Benjamin Truitt Balanzategui, of Gainesville, Florida, and Christopher Sorensen of Fort Pierce; two daughters, Dr. Theresa Cumpstone, of Jacksonville, Florida, and Kimberly Sorensen, of Fort Pierce; one brother, William O. Balanzategui, Jr., of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; and companion, Corrine McCammy, of Fort Pierce.

Mr. Balanzategui was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lydia Balanzategui.
