Raymond Ewers

Raymond Eugene Ewers, 80, died June 22, 2010 in Fort Pierce, Florida. He was born in Jackson, Michigan, and lived in Fort Pierce since 1964, coming from Springfield, Ohio. Before retirement he worked at Triad in Springfield, Ohio, 29 years at Piper Aircraft, Vero Beach, Florida, and 3 years at Micco Aircraft in Fort Pierce. Mr. Eweres served in the United States Navy.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Fern A. Ewers, of Fort Pierce; 2 daughters, Janet M. Kivlin, of Stuart,Florida, Cheryl L. Green, of Port St. Lucie; 1 son, Gary L. Ewers, of Fort Pierce;3 brothers, Michael E. Ewers, Bernard D. Ewers, Jr., and Laverne C. Ewers, all of Springfield, Ohio; 9 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Grace Ewers; father Bernard Donald Ewers, Sr.; son, Denny Eugene Ewers and great-grandson Hunter Lee Bernard.

Funeral Information

A visitation will be held on June 24, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at the Yates Funeral Home, Fort Pierce Chapel.

The funeral service will at 1:00 p.m., June 25, 2010, also at the Yates Funeral Home, Fort Pierce Chapel.

Interment will immediately follow at Hillcrest Memorial Garden in Fort Pierce.
