Edward Joseph Matthews Sr.

Edward Joseph Matthews Sr. 82, of Fort Pierce Florida passed away January 21, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Matthews was born in New York City, New York and moved to Fort Pierce, Florida from Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey in 1973. He retired as a Union Foreman for Labors Local # 1652, and was a Mason of the Scotia Lodge #0634 in New York City.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years Evangeline M. Matthews of Fort Pierce, FL, sons Edward Jr., Robert, and Scott Matthews all of Port Saint Lucie, FL, daughters Karen Chite of Port Saint Lucie, FL and Barbara Baird of Cookeville, TN, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Private arrangements are with Yates Funeral Home Fort Pierce chapel.
