Arthur J. Sheehan

Arthur J. Sheehan, 83, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, died March 11th, 2010 at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center, Fort Pierce, Florida. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he had been a resident of Port Saint Lucie since 1987 coming from Long Island, New York.

A talented Muscian, he played many venues on the Treasure Coast, including Lead Vocalist for the 18 piece band "The Dreamers". He also volunteered every Saturday to read to the blind on Radio Station WQCS #88.9. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II and was a member of the Saint Lucie Catholic Church and the American Legion Post #318 both in Port Saint Lucie.

He is survived by his Wife of thirty years, Patricia M. Sheehan of Port Saint Lucie; four daughters, Terry Civitarese & Cyndee Payne both of Gastonia, North Caarolina, Christine Aurichio of Bayshore, New York, & Joanne Mullings-Reese of Port Saint Lucie; one son, Joseph Mullings of Palm Beach, Florida; ten grandchildren; & one great grandchild.

Funeral Information

Friends may call March 14th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., at the Yates Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Saint Lucie Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated March 15th at 9:30am at Saint Lucie Catholic Church, 280 SW Prima Vista Blvd, Port Saint Lucie.

Burial with Full Military Honors will take place March 16th at 10:00 a.m., at South Florida VA National Cemetery, Lake Worth.
