Virginia Brown Scheiwe

January 13, 1921 - November 21, 2009

Virginia Brown Scheiwe, 88, died November 21, 2009 at her home in Fort Pierce, Florida. She was born in Nashville, Michigan, a native of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Mrs. Scheiwe was a resident of Fort Pierce since 1975 coming from Plantation, Florida. In Plantation she was Kindergarten Teacher and a Graduate of Western Michigan University. She was a member of the Fort Pierce Women’s Club and the American Association of University Women.

Mrs. Scheiwe was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Scheiwe, in 2005; a grandson, David Montgomery; and a brother, Norman Brown.

Virginia is survived by three sons, Kurt D. Scheiwe of Fort Pierce, Stephen D. Scheiwe of Cosby, Tennessee and Thomas D. Scheiwe of Auburn, Alabama; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral Information

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., November 24, 2009, at Yates Funeral Home in Fort Pierce. A Funeral service will follow at the Yates Funeral Home, Fort Pierce Chapel.
