Nelson Wilson "Smitty" Smith

Nelford Wilson (Smitty) Smith, 65, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida passed away December 2, 2011 at Florida Hospital, Orlando, Florida. Mr. Smith was born in Paterson, New Jersey, son of Albert and Grace Smith coming to Port Saint Lucie, Florida from Bradley Beach, New jersey in 1978. He worked in the boating industry, was a veteran of the U.S. Army and enjoyed classic cars and photography.

He is preceded in death by his father, Albert Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Jackie M, Smith of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; daughters; Michelle Bernini (Tom) of Fort Pierce, Florida, Jacqueline Hurley (Ted) of Fort Pierce, Florida, Nicole Shireman (Tom) of Corydon, Indiana; mother; Grace Smith of Copperas Cove, Texas; brother; Albert Smith (Marlene) of Copperas Cove, Texas; and five grandchildren.

Funeral Information

Services will be held at a later date.
