J. David Huskey

J. David Huskey, Sr. 69 of Fort Pierce, Florida passed away September 7, 2011 at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center. Mr. Huskey was born in Fort Pierce, FL, the son of David Carl and Grace Huskey. He was a veteran of the Viet Nam conflict, serving in the US Army, in Germany. Mr. Huskey was a graduate of Dan McCarty High School class of 1960, and a graduate of the University of Florida with degrees in advertising and public relations.
He was preceded in death by his parents D.C. and Grace Osteen Huskey.
Survivors include his wife Marylu Stepp Huskey of Fort Pierce, FL; son J. David Huskey Jr. of Fort Lauderdale, FL; daughter Amy Huskey Cornforth of Hawaii; three grandchildren; brother Ronald E. Huskey; step-daughters Shelly Snyder, Shannon Woods, Shea Barden and six-step grandchildren.

Funeral Information

A gathering of friends and family will be September 11, 2011, 3-7:00 PM at Yates Funeral Home Fort Pierce, FL. Funeral service will be September 12, 2011, 11:00 AM at Yates Funeral Home & Crematory, Fort Pierce, FL.
