Anita Margaret Yund

July 05, 1943 - March 28, 2012

Anita Margaret Yund (nee Adler)

Anita Margaret Yund (nee Adler), born July 5, 1943 in a Liverpool suburb, England, eldest daughter of Benjamin Leon and Anne Margaret Adler.

After leaving school she went to Italy where she was a children’s nanny for several years. She entered America in the early 1970’s and lived in New Jersey for a while. She loved the sunshine and way of life so she moved down to Florida and continued with her career as a nanny. In Florida she met and married Dwight Yund and both lived in Jensen Beach, Florida until his sudden death in the early 1990’s. They had no children of their own.

Anita moved to Stuart, Florida and continued to work part time for children’s care. Eventually however, her progressive disease of Muscular Dystrophy prompted her placement at the Lynmoore Assisted Living Complex in Fort Pierce, Florida in 2009.

She returned to England for several family visits over the years, the last one being in 2008. Her younger sister, Pat, together with husband Alan, visited Anita (Victoria) in 2011 and helped her move to her present home at Lake Forest Park.

She leaves behind her family in England; sister, Pat; brother,-in-law, Alan; nieces, Melanie and Deborah; great-nieces, Rachel, Megan, Alice, and Rosie; and many cousins living in England.
