Carol L. Schaefer

January 14, 1925 - November 25, 2009

Carol L. Schaefer, 84, of Spanish Lakes Riverfront in Port Saint Lucie, Florida died suddenly, November 25, 2009, at the Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando, Florida. Born in the Bronx, New York, she had been a resident of Port Saint Lucie for 30 years, coming from East Meadow, New York.

Mrs. Schaefer was a volunteer at the Heathcote Botanical Gardens in Fort Pierce, for more than twenty years at the time of her death. A homemaker and mother, she was predeceased by her Husband of 42 years, George Edward Schaefer, who died in 1988 and a son, George D. Schaefer and a daughter, Donna L. Gilhooley.

She is survived by her Daughter, Carol M. Schaefer of Copiague, New York; & three grandsons.

Funeral Information

A Service to celebrate her Life will be held Saturday, December 5th at 1:00 p.m. in the Clubhouse Lobby of Spanish Lakes Riverfront in Port Saint Lucie.
