Dennis A. Van Decker, 50, of Port St. Lucie, Florida died January 20, 2010 at his home. Mr. Van Decker was born in Paterson, New Jersey moving to Port St. Lucie in 1995 from Paterson. He was associated with Wells Fargo as an Armed Security Guard.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl L. Van Decker of Port St. Lucie; 2 sons, Rod Phillips of Lakekand, Florida and Arben Colaku of Paterson; 1 daughter, AmberLynn Ashley of Port St. Lucie; mother and stepfather, Angelina Van Decker and John Kwak of Fort Pierce; brother, William Van Decker of Stuart, Florida and 1 grandson, Gabriel Mark Phillips.

Mr. Van Decker is preceded in death by his father, Howard Williams Van Decker.
