Virginia Hilson Vincent

Virginia Hilson Vincent, 83, of Fort Pierce, Florida passed away December 6, 2011 at Indian River Medical Center. Mrs. Vincent was born in South Miami, Florida moving to Fort Pierce from Miami in the early 1930’s. She was a graduate of Fort Pierce High School, class of 1947. Mrs. Vincent was a member of Anchor Line Yacht club, Stuart, Florida and a Charter Member of Community United Methodist Church, Fort Pierce.

Survivors include her two sons, Paul “Skip” Hilson of Boynton Beach, Florida and Robert J. Hilson of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; eight grandchildren, Janet Hilson, Paul Hilson, Jack Hilson, Amber Hilson, Austin Hilson, Beth Hilson, Larra Hilson, and Kara Hilson; six great grandchildren, Christopher Yagerlener, Virginia Hilson, Paul Kelly Hilson, Ella Hilson, Olivia Hilson, and Jack Baker; sisters, Bobbi Gibbs of Boswick, Georgia and Jo Bracken of Fort Pierce.

Mrs. Vincent is preceded in death by her husbands, Jack Hilson and Richard “Dick” Vincent and parents, Golden Roy and Myrtle Ingram Stowe.

Funeral Information

Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., December 11, 2011 at Yates Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., December 12th at Community United Methodist Church with Rev. Daniel Baker, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
