Carl I. Swanson

March 16, 1928 - January 17, 2012

Carl I. Swanson, 83, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, passed away January 17, 2012 at Treasure Coast Hospice of Fort Pierce. Mr. Swanson was born in Hartford, Connecticut and came to Port Saint Lucie from Farmington, Connecticut in 1995. He was retired from the Aetna Life Insurance Company and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II and the Korean Conflict. Mr. Swanson was also a member of the Saint Lucie Shrine Club and Masons.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Elizabeth Swanson of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; sons, Robert Swanson of Avon, Connecticut, Todd Swanson of Farmington, Connecticut; daughter, Deborah Loewenstein of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; and two grandchildren.

Funeral Information

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the Saint Lucie Shrine Club, 4600 Oleander Avenue, Fort Pierce, Florida 34982.
