Thomas P. Smith

Thomas P. Smith, 91, of Gator Trace in Fort Pierce, Florida died March 28, 2010 at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Fort Pierce. Born in New York City, he had been a resident of Fort Pierce for 29 years coming from New Canaan, Connecticut.

An Army Veteran of World War II, he attained the rank of Captain and was the Vice-President of the Kay Corporation in New York City, prior his retirement.

Survivors include his Wife of 38 years, Dena C. Smith of Fort Pierce; two sons, Father Peter Smith of Norcross, Georgia & Gordon Smith of Medford, Oregon; two grandchildren; & seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral Information

A Service to Celebrate his Life will be April 7, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., at the Yates Funeral Home & Crematory, Fort Pierce Chapel, where the Family will receive Friends after 10:30 a.m.

Interment will be in the Saint Thomas Aquinas Cemetery in Bridgewater, Massachusetts.
