Bessie Lee Morris

Bessie Lee Morris, 95, of Fort Pierce, Florida passed away September 4, 2010 in Fort Pierce. Mrs. Morris was born in Atlanta, Georgia and was a resident of Fort Pierce for 65 years. She was a graduate of Lake Worth High School, class of 1933. Along with her late husband, she was a co-founder of Saint Lucie Outboard Marine of Fort Pierce.
Survivors include her son James W. Morris Jr. of Fort Pierce; 5 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Morris is preceded in death by her husband, James W. Morris; son, John Q. "Buck" Morris; daughter, Sarah Ann Morris and a great grandchild.

A private service took place September 5, 2010 at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens cemetery.
