Winston L. Leefatt, Sr., 63, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, died January 17, 2010 at the Saint Lucie Medical Center, Port Saint Lucie. Born in Spanish Town, Jamaica, he had been a resident of Port Saint Lucie for seven years, coming from Bronx, New York. He was a Factory Worker of Royal Caribbean Bakery in Mount Vernon, New York, until illness forced him to retire. He Loved planting fruit trees; spending time with his Children and Grandchildren and enjoyed cooking. He is survived by two daughters, Judith Leefatt of Port Saint Lucie & Trudel Leefatt of Brooklyn, New York; two sons, Winston Leefatt, Jr. of Mount Vernon, New York & Leonard McKenzie of Brooklyn, New York; three brothers, Patrick Leefatt, Derrick Leefatt & Kevin Leefatt, all of New York; three sisters, Jeanette Hosang & Paulette Leefatt both of New York, & Peggy Wong of California; & eight grandchildren; Kevin, Kemone, Janisha, Jordan, Anthony, Brianna, Malik, & Kayla. Funeral InformationA Viewing will be held Saturday, January 30th, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., at the New Life Christian Center, 5555 NW Saint James Drive, Port Saint Lucie, where a Service to Celebrate his Life will begin at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at White City Cemetery, Fort Pierce, Florida. |
