Josephine W. Gerrald, 86, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, died February 15, 2010 at Saint Lucie Medical Center, Port Saint Lucie. Born in Montserrat, West Indies, she had been a resident of Port Saint Lucie for two years, coming from her birthplace.

She was a member of the Salem Methodist Church in Montserrat and attended the First United Methodist Church of Port Saint Lucie.

Survivors include two daughters, Rubie C. Manwarren of Port Saint Lucie, & Loretta E. Nicholas of New York City, New York; one son, Royden Al Gerrald of New York City, New York; two sisters, Henrietta Weekes of Nevis, West Indies, & Henrietta Campbell of Atlanta, Georgia; one brother, James Gerrald of St. Kitts, West Indies; six grandchildren; & one great-grandchild.

Funeral Information

A viewing will be held February 19, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at the Yates Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Saint Lucie Chapel.

A Service to Celebrate Her Life will be held February 20, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., at the First United Methodist Church, 260 SW Prima Vista Blvd., Port Saint Lucie, where the Family will receive Friends after 10:00 a.m.

Interment will follow at White City Cemetery, Fort Pierce.
