William Raymond Blazak, Sr.

William Raymond Blazak, Sr., 84, of Fort Pierce, Florida passed away April 14, 2010 in Fort Pierce. Mr. Blazak was born in Hubbard, Ohio, moving to Fort Pierce in 1984 from Hubbard. He was a retired Long Distance Trucker, and was associated with Kopper’s Inc. for 27 years. Locally, Mr. Blazak managed the North Hutchinson Utility Services District, North Hutchinson Island, Fort Pierce.

He was a Veteran of World War II, serving with the United States Army in the European Theater of Operations and participated in the Normandy Invasion and the Battle of the Bulge. Mr. Blazak was a member of VFW Post 3767 and PLA Post 87, both in Hubbard.

Survivors include his son, William Raymond Blazak, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Betty Ann, of Port St. Lucie; and 1 grandchild, Brittani.

Funeral Information

A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, April 16, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Yates Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
