Elvira J. Harris, 60, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, died suddenly, March 02, 2010 at Saint Lucie Medical Center in Port Saint Lucie. Born in Palermo, Italy, she had been a resident of Port Saint Lucie since 2006, coming from Bay Shore, NY.

A devoted wife and Mother, she was a “world class” cook.

She is survived by her Husband of 32 years, Melvin Harris of Port Saint Lucie; one daughter, Diana M.V. Harris of Washington, D.C.; one son, Richard A. Harris of Las Vegas, Nevada; Brothers, Sisters & two grandchildren, Brody & Avery Harris.

Funeral Information

Friends may call March 8, 2010 from 12:30-1:30 p.m., at the Yates Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Saint Lucie Chapel, where a Prayer Service will begin at 1:30 p.m.

Interment will follow at White City Cemetery, Fort Pierce.
