Paul “Doc” W. Laspina, Jr., 77, of Saint Lucie West in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, died May 7, 2010 at Palm Garden of Port Saint Lucie. Born in Bronx, New York, he had been a resident of Saint Lucie West for ten years, coming from West Palm Beach, Florida.

He was a Chiropractic Physician in Clifton, New Jersey for forty years, until retiring in 1991. He was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict serving with the United States Navy and was a member of the American Legion Post #1048 in Dobbs Ferry, New York.

Survivors include one son, Paul R. Laspina of Somers, New York; two daughters, Kim Baumann of Beacon, New York & Lori Broccoli of Carmel, New York; & eight grandchildren, Daniella, Christopher, Cali, Craig, DJ, Kimberly, RJ, and Brandon.

Funeral Information

A Service to Celebrate His Life will be June 13, 2010 at 1:00 p.m., at Saint Joachim-Saint John Evangelist Church, 31 Willow Street, Beacon, NY.

Interment will be held privately by the family at a later date.
