James L. Cashman, 81, of Tradition in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, died November 12, 2009 at his home. Born in South Bend, Indiana, he had been a resident of Port Saint Lucie for five years coming from Lake Park, Palm Beach County, Florida. An Army Veteran of World War II, he graduated from the University of Illinois with a BS in Business and was a member of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. He was the Director of Marketing & Sales for the A.B. Dick Company and Video-Jet in the Chicago, Illinois area, until he retired in 1986. He was a member of the Board of Trustees and past president of the Elk Grove, Illinois, Park District for eight years. He is survived by his Wife, Judy L. Cashman of Port Saint Lucie; four daughters, Candace L. (Steve) Sotwick of Littleton, Colorado. Cynthia L. (Francis) Cashman-DiBiase of Home, Washington, Anne K. (Robert) Kratochvil of Stuart, Florida, & Patricia K. (Darrin) Osmond of Wellington, Florida; four sons, James P. (Anne) Cashman of San Jose, California, Jeffrey B. (Christine) Cashman of Marietta, Georgia, Thomas M. (Corin) Cashman, of Chicago, Illinois, & Stephen L. (Julie) Kahle of Kennesaw, Georgia.; & sixteen grandchildren.
